I can’t believe I will be graduating in less than 12 hours… I guess I’ll have to change my description from high school to college now. In a way, chibird has embodied my high school experience in all its innocent optimism. I’ve been so blessed to be able to share my life and drawings with you all, and I thank you all for everything (especially the sweet messages that never fail to touch my heart). <3

It is such a bittersweet feeling to close this chapter of my life, and I’m not sure how the next one will go or how chibird will fit into it. After almost 3 years of drawing nearly every day, I will be taking a short break, a real one. I’ll be going on a trip with my friends, and I don’t have any drawings queued up for the next few days. That’s okay, right? I’m always scared that I will disappoint people, but this time I have to think about myself.

I will be back in a few days, so chibird will be back soon, and hopefully better than ever!
